Why Gaia's Greens?
We care about the environment and about nutrition!
We have been gardening organically ourselves for over 25 years so know that organic produce tastes better, is better for our bodies, and is better for the environment. We understand the impact that chemical fertilizers and pesticides can have our health and on Mother Nature's health, and we want no part of that! And because of our knowledge of healthy eating and nutrition, we know without a doubt that eating lots of organic fruits and veggies is the best thing you can do for your health and wellness.
We are better than your average CSA!
Most CSAs are tied to a specific farm, which is great for the farm, but limits the availability of produce to just what that farm grows and has available. Gaia's Greens has access to many different farms across the Southeast and around the world, so we are able to offer produce year round, and the selection far surpasses what you can get with a single farm CSA. And we now offer other organic products such as coffee, granola, flour, salad dressings, pilafs, pasta sauces and dog biscuits too! You won't find that kind of variety at just any old CSA!
We offer a great service at a reasonable cost.
We attempted to price our organics at our local chain supermarkets only to find that we couldn't get all of the products in any one store, so had to go to at least three stores to get it all.
All of our produce is 100% organic, much of it grown in the Southeastern US and much of it comes from Georgia*. It's super fresh when you get it. When compared to these chain stores, our prices are equal if not lower, the produce is fresher, and best of all, it's delivered directly to you!
*Sometimes we have to go outside the Southeast depending on what's available, but we always try to include local Georgia and the Southeast produce first.
